Friend of mine was hit by a truck about a week ago

We talked with her yesterday and she is surprisingly good spirits! I guess Curt (her husband) almost got carted off to the pokey, for pulling the guy out of the vehicle. He never even got out to help....I guess he was in shock at the accident and how screwed he was... Anyway, she said that after she gets out of her wheelchair (following therapy, etc.) she will ride again, but from now on with a helmet! Can I get an AMEN!
