From Busa to Cow to Truck Bed

I've hardly been on the forum and many of you don't know that my hubby and I have his and hers busas. Well we USED to until about a month ago. My hubby Rocky sold his busa because it was pretty uncomfortable for him. His brother owns a bike shop in Missouri and we heard that the 14 was a lot more comfortable than the busa. So his bro got him a good deal on a 07 14 at an auction. It's a really clean bike and I rode it a couple of times and man it is fast! It sits higher and it's couple of inches longer than the busa and though it is fast it doesn't handle as well. He's happy and it's comfortable for him. Well it's only got 7k miles on it and we rode down to St. Augustine and it started making a loud clattering sound so we had a call a buddy and load that Cow on the back of his truck! I told him. "sorry babe. I have to post this on the forum!" Enjoy!

Sport bikes arnt designed to be comfortable. You want comfort, get a couch on wheels.

No one is going to buy any kind of bike that isn't comfortable. Not comfortable = not fun to ride.

Ironically, I sold my ZX-14 a month ago and bought a Busa ! The ZX-14 is a comfortable ride, very fast, big and has good brakes. I got tired of the engine heat, the fan running constantly, the big size, poor handling and 33 miles per gallon on premium. Now that I am back on a Busa I am thrilled ! It seems so much lighter, better handling and cooler running. I feel like I am riding a GSXR1000 compared to riding the ZX-14. Not quite the horsepower of the ZX-14 but thats easy to fix if I need more. (I dont) Good luck to you and your hubby !

The Busa is one of thee most uncomfortable bikes I have ever ridden... Dont really care for comfort, that's why I bought 3 of them. As long as I have 310hp underneath my a$$ ill love it. Ask any young rider, they wont care about comfort.

I agree with others, busa is not exactly comfortable to me, but then again it isnt UNcomfortable... and it is definitely a lot more comfortable than other sports bikes... BUT I LOVE THE POWER!!!! haha Tell him good luck! & Go get another busa, a tobin and some heli bars!
