Actually, the word "Hayabusa" means "strong and fast". The name was given to that falcon and has also graced the sides of a battleship, a bullet train, and a jetfighter among other things......
As far as the bodywork, its important to note that that wierd body work is what gives the hayabusa such a low coefficient of drag and hence a higher top speed than alot of bikes with the same amount of power. Changing it will most likely lead to a higher amount of drag and therefore, any advantage that you now have over other bikes at high speed acceleration. Just for comparison, the 99-07 hayabusa have a drag coefficent of 3.15 which means on paper, with unlimited distance it should take only 196hp to reach 200mph. A ZX-14 requires 203hp to reach the same speed because its not aas aerodynamically effecient. That goofy front end works!!!
