fuel screen from tank to line

Is there a fuel screen from the tank to the fuel line going to the tank.I had my tank propped up and the line from the tank came off and fuel was srpaying everywhere.Just wondering if there was a fuel screen or filter there that could of got lost?

No, in stock form it's just the fuel line (from the petcock that can't be easily closed in stock form but there's a way around that discussed a while back here) and the fuel return line, both between tank and fuel pump.

This is not what your asking but it's useful info anyway.
I use the caps under the seat/hump to cover the outlets on the tank and empty .223 shells to plug the hoses. Pencils, cut in half work also

There are some nice quick disconnect fittings available that have a dry brake feature to contain the mess of spewing fuel.

they are available in 1/4" and 5/16"

I am thinking about useing some off of a Victory but haven't had to disconncet the hose in a while.
