mikeyusf, I had a GS500e, it didn't have any fairings on it and the one you could buy was very small.  Maybe a couple of those pink shag bath mats from Walmart would work!

Hey, you could buy one of those freaky looking fur things for your helmet to go with the bike. There was a picture of those things on an old thread. They looked like muppets on steroids.

No actually I have a 1996 GS500E that I bought for $400. The fairings were scratched up, and we were going to fix it up and use it as a fun bike. I was wanting to find out where I could get some fur, but it seems everyone is too determined to save the SE. LOL no but seriously, where is a good place to get Fur? Thrift Shop? Fabric Shop? Write me back and let me know, thanks for the concern though

Hey i ahve seen worse. One of the Zoo Crew has Holstein Cow fur design on his bike. Let me tell you I laughed my azz off for an hour when I seen it.

I think I would have bought used and cracked pieces rather than waste away those SE pieces like that.

Maybe there would have been more compassion for the art if you had shaved your cat and showed us the bare animal and you applying each patch.
