Just got the Nuvi 200, and a "hard-wire" kit from Powerlet Products. Using heavy-duty velcro to mount it to the Techmount, but didn't consider the rain, since I don't ride when it's wet. Someone has to make a waterproof case for it, like they do for digital cameras.

Check out Aquapac.net--they have waterproof cases for GPS units (about $30), and they have one for $90 which allows a wire through the case (in case you want to hard-wire the unit): Aquapac Connected Electronics Pack

i use my clear tank bag for my nuvi 260w its stays dry
