Gas leak

Another reason to cruise around to empty the tank eh. : )))))))

That valve under the tank should do the trick with the help of a screw driver. Closing that should stop the return, but ofcourse that is my theory.
I don't want to get fuel all over me again. I almost emptied half the tank and took me an hour to wash every corner down.

Well,after washing,washing,washing and drying
it seems that there is no problem so far, though I dilute the hell out of it.

Clamps are coming off. I hope that fuel doesn't cause any damage to any part of the electrical stuff. So far so good..

While I was working under the gas tank accidently I disconnected one of the fuel
hoses and till one of my guys came to help
I got fuel all over. I watered down everything and washed all over with extra detergent.
Is there anything that might get effected from fuel which I have to put extra care to,ofcourse some of the electrical tape came off and I don't plan to restart till it dries out throughly.
Any suggestions, besides being more carefull the next time : )))

Best to all

replace those shitty pinch clamps you bought for $11K with reg. hose clamps. Been there done that, eh Nuts?

BTW, where is Nuts? Gone fishing?

Hah

Same thing happened to me when I first opened my tank...lol That hose right in the middle.... Gas over me and the bike....

Just washed it down right away to dillute the gas and cleaned it after.... Now, I am removing the tank to have it painted....

should be gas right from my house to the shop.....lol

I have also replaced the clamps... They are practically on every hose in your busa.

It might be the dumbest question but here it goes. How do you turn off the fuel so that you can remove the gas tank and drain the gas more safely.(I don't have a busa manual)
