Gauge reading

Yea I know... But the last owner only had it for like 4 month and fell in love of my GSXR 1000 and we trade.

Now that I have all dismounted and need to order a head gasket sparkplugs, PCV or a Bazzaz etc ,I will just send my ECU to Frank from POWERHOUSE. When I get all together I will take it to the Dyno
u ought to try to contact whoever owned it before the 4 month guy... maybe try to find him on FB... it might be a 1397.. u dunno.

I just finish cleaning the throttle intake with carburetor cleaner ( it was super dirty)

I have a question. What silicon do you recommend for the valve gasket? Red, black, etc?

I guess u could throw some on there... but make sure u buy a new valve cover gasket... they have full kits for like 50 bucks... even the orings.

Thanks for your reply Ali123 manual says to add some around the loop area. Just need to verify which of the Silicon can they recommend me.

The top .010 is inches and the bottom one .254 is mm? Thank you in advance
Correct. Also, be careful when you turn the motor by hand to check the rest of the valves. I don't think that tape could get sucked in but you never know.

As for tuning, a dyno is safest and I guess get it real close but there is no substitute for real world top speed tuning except for tuning the bike in the real world at top speed. How much dif it makes, IDK but if I'm tuning at 150 mph, I want the air coming in the ram air at 150mph. Also engine temp at the temp running where it does while riding, etc, etc.
