G'day and thanks from Brisbane Australia, with pic(s)...

Where do you take your Busa to "open her up a bit" if ya know what I mean?

Went up Brisbane Valley to Esk today.
Then up the Esk / Hampton Rd up to the Farmers Arms for Lunch.
Only saw one cop 4x4 sat just after Esk clocking folk in the 60 zone.

Do regular runs around Somerset Dam (North) or down Rathdowny,
Kyogle, Casino, Tenterfield and back (South)

Plenty of places to "open her up" if you pick the right roads and
right riders. P.M me if you have any problems.

Tony.

Hi Tony, thanks for the tips. My bike is so damn loud I get kinda nervous opening her up - cops etc. The Brock's Alien Head (on the bike when I got it...) at even 5000rpm must be audible for a long way out in the country... I've not had much of a chance to get too far from Brisvegas yet - only bloody Mt Glorious and out past Somerset to Kilcoy, and down around Tamborine and Canungra. I gotta free up some time to get away for a coupla days of cop avoidance... Cheers.

I'd just like to come over there and have some of your fine women just talk to me for a little while i love the accent

:welcome: to the oRg :beerchug: If all she's got is the pipe and tune; 200 is probably being generous. 192-195 is probably more like it. Love the bike and by the way regardless of the other posters and because you have been around here soaking up the knowledge you already know you bought the fastest color.

Looks like you love the corners. Get tires soon brother

I'm an Aussie with an Aussie accent and I find it bizarre that someone could find the Aussie accent attractive. Give me a Southern USA drawl any day...

If you were only a girl ; I picture all Aussie women as the Blonde in the Transformer's movie (Rachel Taylor) :inlove:

There are a couple of big boogies I'd LOVE to jump at - but the plane ticket would be outrageous!

But, if you could get HER there::11 - that is one fine looking woman (but my wife might not like it) :moderator:

2 of my bikes have Yoshi's, not bad, but still illegal.
One has a LOUD 4 into 1, but i get away with it due to its age.

When im out with the boys, playing hard, chasing sportsbikes, im normaly
on a 100% stock B-King. I get a lot less hassle from the cop's. Loud pipes,
short rear guards etc are nice, but many of the guys I ride with have gone
back to stock. Most rides are 550 to 750k's and we'd rather be putting in
the miles than getting hassle.

Yep Tony, I agree with you. I also have older bikes that are very loud but manage to get away with it... When I bought the Busa it had a chopped rear guard and I've added a generic rear guard extension. At least the bike now looks more legal now even if it doesn't sound like it... I find myself riding in a high gear around town just to keep the volume down. The bike is so fantastic with the current system on it I can't bring myself to put it back to stock. I wouldn't have chosen such a loud exhaust, but now that it's there... I guess I'll wait and see what happens cop-wise. Hopefully nothing... I'm gonna try the Esk route. Thanks mate.
