Gear Indicator

Almost there. I had to figure out some problems with the inconsistent power on a bike, but I'm back on track. Probably another week or two and it will be real professional and ready. I'm trying to satisfy everyone (especially myself). It will give number, bar, or for MH, trigger external sources like relays. Gonna be cool, reliable, and good looking. Can't get that overnight. Been running a prototype for a few months now and worked most of the bugs out.

I want one too please. That was always my favorite on all my Suzukis even my 1974 GT750 Waterbuf. has one.I was disapointed when RF900 came out without it.(had 3 of them) email info to zilla1300@webtv.net thanks Steve Cincy.Ohio

Sounds like a GREAT accessory. Are you using a A/D converter in the design? I knew that pink wire would come in handy for something.
I heard it can also be tapped into to cure the spark retard induced, off idle, stumble in lower gears. Nice if your circuit could incorporate a toggle switch to make the ECM think it is in high gear (no spark retard, no more slow speed stumble). In this mode, the 7 segment could display a numeral from 1 to 6 with "+" or LH or RH decimal sign turned on. I hear there is a guy in NY working on circuit for this. You guys should collaborate, combining both circuits in the same device. That would be really cool.
