New member here with a 2005 in blue and silver. Amazing bike.

I want to get akrapovic slip ons but can't find any for gen 1. I can get gen 2 ones and wondered if they would still fit?

These are just slip ons not full system.

Thanks

Welcome @peperami. The blue Hayabusas were all done well and I always enjoy seeing your color scheme.
Thanks for the warm welcome, quick piccy for you.

Welcome and nice bike, @peperami! Are you the original owner? Tell us a little about the bike.

2005 model and I am second owner. I bought it 6 months ago from the original owner who did 10,000 miles on it, I've already increased to 15,000

I've had a quickshifter fitted and also had the guages modified so the rev counter now shows which gear you are in. So in first the number 1 on rev counter lights red, second the number 2 lights up and so on. Really neat thing.

I've been really impressed with it, I had a 2008 r1 before this which was great but you just couldn't enjoy the power on the road, due to having to rev it out.

The busa is like a missile and you can enjoy its performance without having to go massively over speed limit.

I'm all for exhaust and mods, but that looks too nice to change anything on.

welcome to the org
Part of me agrees a lot as I love the stock exhausts with the size of them etc. Just would be nice if it was a bit louder. Then again sometimes I ride it and think its perfectly fine volume wise in stock form, so I might leave it as is.

The stock exhausts also get lots of positive comments due to how attractive they are and the garage I took it to recently to get serviced said it was nice to see a superbike with standard exhausts for once.

Would love to see a vid of that RPM gauge.
