Can you post pics of where you added the washers to shim down the highbeam?

Also, do you have a link to the sealant you used to pu back together?

I used ultra black silicone available at any auto parts store.

Also. do you need to pull off the lens if you just want to shim the high beam, and not cut out the back of the reflector?

Yes, the lens has to come off to gain access.

Thanks for the reply. Wasn't clear from the pics where you actually shimmed the screws. Guess I'll figure it out if I get around to pulling it apart

Just did mine, instead of the whole deflector, only chopped off the curvature,happy with the outcome,

I see the low beam deflector that you are talking about, I have had my '08 since new and have never had that piece, I have always been able to look directly at the low beam bulb.

I'm glad your happy with this mod!
