Just a bit of fun really... Well hopefully
This site has been really helpful so I thought I would post my progress. I have done about 20 mins riding on the bike and in stock trim I was about 20 secs a lap slower than what I can do on my GSXR1000.
I struggled with the delay in the throttle and the lack of feel with the rubber mounted bars and pegs plus the high bars and low seat.
I have put brembo master cylinders on to help the brakes, LSL clip on bars to delete the rubber mounts and put my weight further forward, vortex rearsets, replaced seat foam, high screen, yoshi throttle, 520 chain and sprockets, sprint filter, velocity stacks, yoshi exhaust, Bridgestone Slicks and a woolich flashed ecu.
Ohlins are building some FKR forks and TTX shock but for this weekend I will race with standard suspension. Not expecting anything except test laps because we can't get much track time for testing in New Zealand.
