Gen 3 plate eliminator

Well, I now know why there haven't been any photos of this delete installed. It doesn't fit. The stock mounting hardware doesn't fit in the holes and none is provided (I can find something to make it work). The led light (nice as it is) doesn't have a pins already installed (nor a cover for the led's (both easy enough to do myself).

But what I can't do is get any of the 4 fender holes to align with the mounting bracket (and even if I could, the stock hardware doesn't engage threads...)

My 0.02$, this is wasted money.

Lol. Ignore blurry ass photo. my step by step disassembly and install post will be delayed until I can figure a different solution out.

Did they send the correct kit? I’d call them and verify or at least tell them it doesn’t work on a Gen-3.
Working on it now, verified the website and the part numbers already and it looks exactly the same as the thread starter. I will update when I get one.

I emailed seller and they want pictures and everything of why it doesnt fit. I basically told them to go test fit it themselves and remove the product. I reported them to ebay as well. There is like 7 different sellers selling same kit on ebay. I am fortunate to have tools to modify things.

Pretty much the same, although, conveniently, a kawi z400 fender has almost the same exact bolt hole pattern for the fwd two bolts. May try to jury rig something up with parts laying around.

I like making custom brackets that are as invisible as possible, put them through the undertail, with small hardware holding the plate on, and 'hiding' the tag light.
Make it look like the plate is floating, or nothing is holding it on.
