Gen3 1441 on pump gas makes 220hp

One reason the Hayabusa is so popular is the impression of street dominance....that's why it was designed in the first place....to win the speed wars.

Although it makes a decent sport tourer, it was never designed to be one.

It's kind of like having a prize fighter with a glass jaw.

Don't get me wrong, I am a die hard Suzuki guy and am loyal to the brand....
You nailed it...!!!.its always heart breakning to accept this fact that once the 'most powerful machine' with ardent fan base even after 20 years has now become a mere 'sport tourer'.What a downgrade.Suzuki should have kept the busa 'legacy'...

i have heard every year for the last 3 years that the zx14r is not going to continue. but every year it is. 2023 is out and no reason it wont continue. i imagine it must be making the euro 500 econazi standards. as for the sxe i love it. has everything but the right price. its crazy expensive and the power is cut way back. now if you get the brock ass whooping package you go from i think its 180 ish to 240hp. you just cant beat that period. but the damn initial price tag is just too much for me
It’s already being dropped in many markets. In the same way the Gen-2 Busa was taken off sale and left a hole in the range when it failed to meet Euro-4. Dealers were registering the last unsold bikes to keep them legal to put in the showroom. For a while there were no new Busa’s on sale as they were illegal in not meeting compliance In some countrie.

The ZX14 doesn’t meet Euro-5 and will most likely go the same way. I think it’s already been dropped and unavailable in some countries.

The US, as with AU, is different to a lot of the world as it doesn’t follow Euro-4 / 5 compliance. I guess if the US keeps buying them, Kawasaki may keep building them for “dirty” markets as they did with the Gen-2. Australia isn’t import as its numbers are small.

Having had an H2 SX SE for 3 years, found several local dealers that wouldn’t (not allowed) to work on it, had 6 recalls, saw 2 mates and 3rd guy here blow there’s up when derestricted, had another mate crash his due to mechanical failure and I found the bike generally noisey and harsh, I was happy to be back on a Gen-3 Busa.
