Gen3 Busa powered racecar!

Hyper X1, guys over in Australia build these, this is the first with a gen3 engine. They ran into a lot of issues trying to bypass stuff with stock ECU so they went with a MaxxECU, she sure looks and sounds good

Why would they use a Gen 3 not a proven easy to swap into absolutely everything Gen 2? I mean I dig it, but I feel like Gen 2 Busa swap is much like a 5.3 LSX swap lol

One reason may be the option to get brand new engines. If you’re selling the vehicles or racing them in a series each getting an identical new engine may be required.

I think throttle blip and quick shift were really what they wanted in the car

Isn’t there a kit / conversion that changes earlier bikes to fly by wire with a servo activated arm ?
