Pan,
Try using your WB (white balance) function on the command dial and set it for the ambient light you've got available. There are multiple options.. Otherwise use Fill flash with the Flash mode set to REAR. Then you'll see what I'm talking about.

I use a flash diffusor indoors and outdoors... looks gay like a plastic snowcone on top of my flash, but it does a good job. I'm not always perfect, but I always nab a good shot with it. My main goal for this year, now, is to get a nice 2.8 lens. I need one!!! I've got about 13 different lenses but I'm lacking a 2.8 zoom for night shots..... it's my next serious "buy" over mods for my busa!!!

I leave my white balance on auto for the d100... and I only use that camera for shoots that "sell"....

I totally prefer film. I love my N90s and I love shooting with it! But it's just not practical while I'm working at the studio I'm at.... that sucks!!!

I can't wait til I get back out to Los Angeles....
