:beerchug: +1 for tattoo lovers

Tattoo's are great, I have 4 right now and I love them all, people often say "your an idiot, your going to regret that in 20 years"

I don't believe this at all. Tattoo's are about reminding yourself about a time in your life when you felt so strongly about something you felt you needed to have a permanent reminder inked deep into the soul of your body.

Too love something so deeply, so passionately that you want to see a piece of that life every day is a beautiful thing. I share this motorcycling passion as do most of us on the forum and you would think we would all understand

Motorcycling is not a hobby, or a sport or a lust; It is a life love deep within our veins and that my friends is just as permanent as any tattoo

so cheers mate, can't wait to see it
+1 on that, Dansky. Between my neckline and my waist Im about 75% tatted. I figure I have at least 120 hours of tat time on my body. Its pretty thematic--they all tie together at some point, just cause I didnt want a bunch of small, single tats. I dont regret a single minute I spent under the gun, and I love them all.
I always find it strange when people ask me "whadda ya gonna do if you regret getting them??"
Well there are LOTS of regrets people have in life, but I dont think Ill regret it for myself, and Im SURE not gonna regret it because of what someone else thinks. If I DID regret it, well, Im a big boy, Ill live!!
All my tats have meaning to me, all are a marker for some event in my life, and ultimately anyone that has one is showing their expression of individuality.
I got my first tat at 35 years old, and I never got one while under the influence or on impulse... they were all thought out and discussed at length with the artist, and Im proud of everything I have.

tattos are a illastrated story. a story of my life. They tell people about me just like my scars . Tats are not for every one .

i got one after i got out of the army, i really dont care for it now and it really has no relevance to anything in my life. My 9yo daughter loves it though! so so be it!

I have a kanji on my forearm and i get questions from elderly people, orientals, everyone wants to know and i have met some great people knowing that my tattoo relates to motorcycles its an easy conversational piece and it lets me know where my life has been and the awesome things ive wrapped my legs around lol

Well then spend the money on the chain and sprockets......"I'm just saying......" Get the tat later..... :super:

So after reading people picking at someone for getting a certain tattoo for the 5,000th time I must say....

Have you ever thought a tattoo can just be that? A TATTOO? Does it always need some super special significant meaning? Dont get me wrong no one was too mean or anything in here... but my best friend owns a tattoo shop here and Im there alot and I hear friends of people trying to talk their friends out of tattoos daily "what are you gonna think when your 50 , what does it symbolize , why that instead of this , blah blah blah" why is it so hard just to realize some people just want a tattoo? Nothing more nothing less? Sadly shows like Miami ink and those have made things much more insane for the adv person that just wants some ink... they start thinking they need a special reason for every tattoo ie: Im getting this bloody sword and skulls to represent the pain I felt over losing my cat when I was 9yrs old... you think Im joking? Sit around a shop for a few hours and you will hear it all.... Alls Im trying to say is there is nothing wrong at all about getting a tattoo just for the simple reason you like what it looks like or hell some people get addicted to the "pain"... dont let anyone make you feel bad for getting something you want !

Cant wait to see it brother hope it turned out sweet !

Its getting shaded in to night I'm gonna take some pic's with my good camera and post them up soon

+1 for the realization that if you want a tattoo, get it, people always are try to make it represent too much, get a tat cause you want one and its an experience.

That's what life is about, not judging people for what they have done or are going to do.

Stoked on the pics, get em up soon were dyin for them
