Sport Vue is very cool.

I rode for 30 years with no gear indicator, and only bought the GIPro for the TRE function. One year later I have the TRE disabled but have grown to absolutely LOVE the indicator function.

I rode a buddies busa the other day without one - kept looking down wondering what gear I was in.

Is it absolutely necessary? No. But neither is 211 horsepower at the rear wheel - but it's nice to have.

Besides not shifting into 7th, it smooths out the lower gears and I love knowing exactly what gear I'm in when flicking through the twisties.

You've never gone hot into a corner banging multiple downshifts before? Nothing sucks more then trail-braking into a second gear corner, re-engaging the clutch (no matter how smoothly), and finding out you're in first. Well actually, getting neutral sucks too. This is more of an issue at the track then it is on the streets.

why do I need tree?
I did Johnny Cheese GPS mod.
it is free.

IMO SportVUE is not just a gadget, it`s most usable perfectly functioning device and I can make my bike lighter dismounting instrument cluster at all and installing portable computer with LCD screen so I watch some movies when riding.

if you running into corner wondering what gear are you on..
then you already in trouble.

So where can i find one of these? With the TRE possibly? And I'd like a nice shift light too... where do i find that?

Board sponsors will hook you up.
Just make a tread in Wonted section.

The instructions came with the Gipro when i purchased mine. Took 10mins to install. It was a matter of lifting the tank finding the connection in the loom at the rear of the engine and connect in line. Hook up the teminal to the battery and job is done. You cant go wrong.
