Gipro mounting location.

The previous owner put some velcro on the back of the GIPro
and stuck it to the bottom right corner of the tach face.

This winter I was going to try and re-route it so its centred
just above the gauge cluster.

I stuck the industrial velcro on the bottom of the Gipro and the top center of the instrument cluster. Run the cable from behind the cluster. It works great and looks cleaner.
 
I have the old school acumen as I don't need the tre option and I also don't like how big the
Gipro is.. although I had my acumen mounted on the dash above the clock and didn't like the way it over ran the gauge cluster, Kinda like a 60" tv in a bedroom.. just too much.. So I flush mounted it down in the fairing panel quick glance is all it takes and its not staring at you all the time saying look at me..

are those the risers some people have talked about in your pic?
Is that easier than swaping out for Helibars?

Yes and yes also cheaper and more lift than the Helibars..

No nothing hits.. I might have turned down the levers a little but not much if I did.. Yes stock length on the lines and hoses..
