i have been thinking about this for a while and want to throw it past all of you. i have the 06 LE and the front forks are gold colored and i have seen "foot pegs" gold color..and just pm'd postal and asked if he can whipp up screens in gold color and i can get blank bling parts and have my local plater (shop sends stuff to them daily) to plate with nickle wich will be "gold" colored...i can also black oxide in my shop so i am debateing trying to go to more a "gold" look on the bike....i thought it would look hot as well you know...any opinions are more than entertained at this point thanks guys

Oh yeah, I can do a metalic gold that will look similar to the forks. Just let me know.

Depends on the look you want ... gold will definitely bling the white; anodized black would give it more of a racing look. Speedemon did both on his 05 LE, and it looks pretty cool.

Please dont...

Im not sure how the "Gold" will look on an 06LE - If someone could do a little Photoshop for ya, that would be a big help. I went Gold-Anodized on my 05LE, and it's either a Love it or Hate it response.

I like it because it is unique, but you have to becareful not to over do it. And I don't think I would do 24K gold Plate - just to "Blingy" in my opinion - atleast with the anodized it still looks utility/ functional instead of Bling. Black is nice, but I think it takes away from the lines of the bike a little, so to accent I would go with something the adds some color. The nice thing is you can always have things Powdercoated in the future if you decide you don't like the color you first decided to go with.

The pictures of my bike with the gold anodized accents don't do the bike any justice - as you really need to see it in person. I've had people see the pictures and go "Dude---what the", but when they see it in person, the can't believe how good it looks in person.

Just pick and choose your "Gold" parts carefuly...it is easy to over do it. Ever think of going with white wheels, or un-polished aluminum look? Might look killer on a white bike. I've always liked the un-polished aluminum on white, it looks very serious...if that makes any sense.

Don't do it. Can look nice on dark colored bikes, but white... I don't think so. IMHO.
