Glock 36 + LaserMax = Sweeeet

Don't think you'll have to worry about the 100 yard thingy with the compact glock

Looks sweet my brother, guess I'll hang with the Tritium sites I have

Sweet set up!

I prefer my CT though, one hand point and shoot if needed. But hey as long as it works for you and know how to use the tools (weapon, laser, mindset) then all is well.

Nice, Been looking REALLY hard at a G36. I recently picked up the XD .45 with a 4" barrel and while it's the best fit in my hand of any .45 out there right now, I've learned that a 14rnds of .45 in a full size auto is just cumbersome to lug around everywhere though. Shame, but unless I can fit that service auto in a thigh rig, it's just in my way too much to conceal comfortably.

SO, your solution looks about right, I've shot the G36 a few times, and while it's a compromised fit in my hand I can still shoot it well. Very Nice set up. I might just have to copy you.

Cause this setup is just TOO much for all day CCW.

Yep, I love the rig. That 36 is flat as a pancake. I carry 1 spare mag, hopefully 13 rounds total is enough for any situation I'm in.

I think (correct me if I'm wrong) the Glock 30(higher capacity) .45ACP just came out with a new stubbier(shorter) version. I just didnt see the need for the added thickness. My 36 is so slim, when I carry at 12 to 1 oclock,(inside the belt), any (not tucked in shirt), hides it very well.

Good to hear, and yeah, 13 should be plenty or you're doing it wrong/in need of a rifle cause the Zombies are attacking.

I need to check out the G30 and see just how much of a difference the added thickness makes, if it's NOT too bad I'll likely get a 30, but I do like the 36 a great deal and love what you've done with yours, thanks for the thread.

Those are great sights.
I was looking at a Crimson Trace laser grip for my 30 but I now have to rethink that.
Looking forward to the review after you get a few rounds off.

Crimson trace is better, the problem with lasermax is it's non adjustable.
If your dot is off from where your gun shoots, (and they do that, that's
why they make adjustable sights) your just screwed.

They say accuracy is guaranteed, I have yet to hear of one being off. In theory it would be difficult for accuracy to be off unless the frame or slide was damaged.

If you think about it, getting the guide rod "off center" would be a tough trick to do.

Well I think that's icing on the cake! I have a G19 and have been looking at them for a while, wanted to see how someone else liked theirs. Please post back up after you put a few magazines through it.

P

The 30 gets a 10 round mag standard with an optional 9 and 13 mag available.
I never had a chance to fire a 36 but it's about 1/8" thinner and 3oz lighter then the 30.

Glock also has the new 30SF (Slim frame) now. Looks very good.

It can't be guaranteed (I mean they can say that) but almost no two guns
shoot the same and you can't adjust it.

Not only do guns shoot different but people shoot the same gun differently.
I may find gun 1 accurate as heck, and person 2 can't hit the broad side
of a barn with it. But person 2 can shoot lights out with gun 2 and I can't hit
crap with it...been there done that.

Not to mention you've got a guide rod (that has a small amount of play in it)
on a spring that may/will move and rotate every shot.

I've absolutely seen guns that shoot 2-4" left or right and a couple of inches
down from POA...how do you gaurentee that with a non-adjustable sight?

Fair enough point sure, but I'm pretty sure that when we are talking about subcompacts it's a moot point. Within 10-15 yards where a sidearm is most likely to be used/needed and given the diminutive size of the 36 or other subcompacts I'm pretty sure that Crimson trace or LaserMax close enough is good enough. Assuming of course that they aren't completely out of whack.

We're aren't talking target weapons here, and Crimson trace's options for polymer framed weapons are pretty cheesy. Pretty much leaving only a guide rod solution as viable, other than some silly trigger guard mounted thing.

BUT

IF a guide rod solution is truly out, I'd be interested to know how Lasermax solves it.

i use a crimson trace on my glock 33 and love it, ive heard of the springs not being well made on the guide rod models

Ah yes, It's a "supertuck" IWB in horsehide. Made by a fantastic small operation called Crossbreed Holsters.

The MAG HOLSTER is a Crossbreed product also... I like it, it's of high quality, but when combined with the full size XD45 it's just too much inside my pants with me. :)

They aren't magic, buts it's the most comfortable IWB I've ever had. The closer you are to your ideal weight though the better. As with any IWB if your fat you're going to experience less comfort. But they also have the Snapslide, and Qwikclip for even more options.

But I love the holster, it's a quality piece backed 100% by Crossbreed and when you call you actually get the owner on the phone usually. They are hand made, rugged, and stone club simple.

Robot and everyone else you should check out crossbreed, they have lots to offer and are great people.
