Anytime anyone's coming to Vegas, just let me know if you want to ride. Heck, I'm sitting in the garage on the Busa right now waiting for someone to call in for a ride. Thanks for the nice words per the photos.

BA, I rode with you already, remember? Or was it that hard to see me while I was way up front?

Just kiddin'- BA Busa definitely has his riding together!

when you raised the rear what did you do for the front?

was there a noticible improvement in cornering after you did it?

quicker turn in? more ground clearence.. etc?

I didn’t do anything to the front. I know that there are some triple clamps that you can change out in order to drop the front, also. I didn’t feel the need to do that for myself, at least at this point. I was riding with a bunch of liter bikes and wanted to raise my Busa rear to handle more in the twisties. I feel that it handles a bit better when you drop-in on the turns. You really feel the front drop when you hard brake before and into a turn. I think that you have to relax your wrist more on a longer ride because you’re leaning more forward, obviously. I’m also 6’4’ with a long inseam, so I figured what the heck? It’s a pretty cool mod if it works for you. Not very expensive and pretty simple to do.

And yes, by the way.

Better handling with a quicker turn in. Ground clearance has always seemed pretty good; suspension is set up pretty stiff.

Good observation! Actually, with the rear end lifted an inch, the bike leans more towards the kickstand. I didn’t have to do the kickstand mod to keep it from rolling forward and over
