sorry to hear about your mom don. I went thru a similiar thing with my dad. I hope you can change her mind. keep us posted. prayers are with ya

We almost lost my mother to an infection over the WHOLE course of last year. We got Blessed and were able to keep her here, and she is (with God's wishes) supposed to make a complete recovery. Please tell your mom NOT to give up hope. Let her know that if they put in the umbrella, it will more than likely catch the clot and then they can remove it. The endoscopy isn't the most comfortable thing, but let her know that just because they are doing it,,that doesn't mean it is anything bad. Let her know that it could be something as simple as a bleeding ulcer that can be treated, or even something simpler. Tell her NOT to give up, and to do all that she can, and then God will decide the outcome.
My prayers go out to all of you guys! I know this is not easy!!
