Good brand of tire to get?

My local speed shop has a black strap in stock, $22.95 if you want it I'll go pick it up tonite and ship it to ya.......let me know.

Thanks for the tips guys.. I understand I can't get a tire that's great in all cases.  By twisties I just mean normal daily driving, going around corners from lights at 10-15 mph, nothing major, no knees to the road or anything.

I think I'm seriously considering the Pirelli Diablo Corsa.  Does that sound like a good fit for my intentions?  I think so judging by other's comments.  Just want to make sure I didn't miss anything.
That's what him was running when he flipped his bike, so I'd say they're sticky enough.......don't know about wear though.

Had Pirelli Dragon Corsa's on my Ninja in Germany, awesome tires and I understand the Diablo's are the replacements for the Dragon's... I will get the Diablo's when the tires on the Busa are gone.

Sounds good to me, I'm going to order it now.  If it ends up being a mistake I'll replace it next spring (which I'll probably have to do anyways if it's that sticky).

Wow, that'd be great!  It's the kind that bolts to the caliper right?  If so, PM me your PayPal address and I'll send you whatever it cost plus shipping plus whatever today!

i have the new battlax 014 (mladin style) i did upgrade the rear to a 200, but it still handles perfectly.

i think the diablo corsa's would be overkill for the way your describing your riding..

everyday tooling around.. hmm.. i'd probably go with either the normal diablo supersport, or maybe the dunlop 208's..

no point paying for a super grippy tire if you aren't going to be putting yourself in a situation (intentionally) that you'll need em'.

I can't imagine the corsa's are going to last more than 1500-2000 miles at best.

80track/20 street tire if I remember correctly.. the normal diablo is 50/50 according to pirelli's website.

if you really don't hit the twisties hard you could probably go with something more touring specific.. pirelli makes a diablo model for more tour, less sport.. never tried em' though.. probably last quite a bit longer also.

diablo corsa's are the best tires ive had on the busa ...loads of grip and bike tips in much quicker now.Cant comment on mileage cos i keep getting nails in them.(london riding)
