Good power from new pipe

Not my bike, didn't notice the blinkers before I'll check them out soon. Just noticed aswell that the pipes are high and eliminate the passenger foot pegs.

I've been pokin' around the site listed above, can't read the pages, but there are some interesting pictures in some of those links.

I even saw a link back here to this board!

who would believe that any pipe could give you a 30hp gain?

if you believe that then maybe you need to buy one! lol....30hp? hahaha

hahaha....lol.

I can't really say if the claimed power output is BS or not, as you know I'm not the most technical person in the world when it comes to bikes. Not sure it is the manufacturers web-page or what other mods were done.

The Tatsumi Mook does not show that particular pipe, it only lists a hand-made Titan 4-2-1 system costing about $1600 and weighing a mere 3.5kg.

Something is wrong with this dynotest.
They claim its going all the way to 11,000 but the revlimiter cuts off at 10,600.
I think its bull.......
Or ?

i thought mine had been to 11,000 too. when i retrieve my bike on sunday it'll get a dyno run. i'll let you know.

I agree with you Yngve, just use common sense and you know there is something odd about the numbers, unless they use the most powerfull exhaust-fan known to mankind.

I'm getting to understand why I'm not mechanically minded. Dealing with computers has made my mind a bit too logical. OK I understand the error with the speedo unit is due to tyre wear, expansion, sprockets etc, but know your saying the tach is not accurate either ?? What is so difficult about reporting the correct rpm, the engine has to know the exact rpm for fuel injection, ignition etc right !

I think I'll give up trying to understand the mechanicals and just enjoy the ride. :)

Yngve: i'm sure the new "suzuki engineer" (Kawabuser) will be able to give a logical answer for that question.

if i'm on the right track with what his theories are, he'll tell us that it has something to do with " degreeing cams" and cam timing.(correct me if i'm wrong)

oh! and yes, you can be "Frank" with me! lol.

Frank. May I be frank ? ( guess U have heard that before...heheh )
If your tach is showing 11 grand than your tach is 400 rpms wrong. Mine is more like 11,200 when the revlimiter cuts in but I KNOW that the true rpm is 10,600.
How do I know ?
Secret.......
:)
