Because you had the guts to know when to step away and to know that there is more to life than staring at a screen for countless hours upon hours all to end up with a 30k post count, to own an invisible and seemingly worthlessly earned level of respect.

So I say to you silent runner - run,, run,,,, run well into the night. I, for one, will not try feebly to keep you against your will. Leave, my friend,,, with your head held high. Go into this life without trepidation and reserve. Go do what others only dream of doing. Set your sights high to never once look back to second guess your decision.

Why are my thoughts of completely cutting ties and going a different direction so weird?

Have you ever thought of just changing what you have and what you know, dropping everything,, all the ruts you are in, the constant drone of simplicity, the grind of civilization and just going off to do something totally different,, something that everyone around you would say "He's a fool for doing that!" and throw your thoughts and responsibilities into the wind to live a life opposite of what you never thought possible?

It's weird. Why? Because society has you so far jammed into a box you or others around you have virtually no escape? Because all others around you constantly expect you to do "what they" expect of you? No more, no less.

Why is it that we cannot break away from our bounds and do what we want when we are stuck?

Is it so weird that I commend this "Lycan" to go,,, GO do what others never expected of him?

I think not.
