Gorilla Zilla Rear Sets Group Buy

I would become #20 right here, right now but I really need to know just how high and how far back these things go. Great deal for some cool pegs but I want to I know the bike will lowside before I ever drag a peg.
 
Is 20 the limit or the starting point for the GP? Either way racer is getting a set and should have it soon to be able to give his review and stats on them. Im guessing 20+ sets shouldnt be an issue .. will it?
 
I believe minimum was 20. RacerV is just waiting on receiving his set he ordered and installing them. Giving us a full review on quality and adjustments before everyone totally commits.

To answer your question about 20 orders, that was only a starting point. More people can join in. As I explained earlier, before I finalize this deal, I want to install the set I have coming to which I will detail installation, finish, fit, and adjustablility. On a down note, I haven't heard from Dave in several days and I am getting concerned. I can't call him because the only phones I have available are company phones and I think my work might question a call to South Africa. The bottom line is that nothing else happens until I see how these things work out, I am just a little annoyed by the lack of communication. He says he currently has 7 Black and 6 Silver sets on hand, I am waiting to hear back as to how long it will take to make the balance.
 
I would love to say that I have heard from Dave but unfortunately he hasn't been responding to my emails.

Longer he takes the more I want them :laugh:. My final decision will be based on the adjustment range and how much lower they are than stock. Measure your peg height as they sit and measure them after the reasets if Dave does not give you a number...

2 x Gold

The distance from the top hole on the frame plate to the bottom hole is 64.94mm which give you a great deal of adjustment.

Doesn't really answer my question do I will give you guys better measurements when I get them. I am now waiting to hear how long it will take to make new ones because everyone wants black and he only has 7 on hand. Thanks for your patience guys.

Well, I have some bad news. I organized this group buy not only to help the members here, but help the vendor sell his product. I met his requirements in getting 20 people to agree to buy his product for a very good price. Now that I have completed my part of the bargain, he is trying to renegotiate the price we agreed to. I called him on it and told him what would happen if he didn't change his mind and now I am a black mail artist. The following represents my interaction with Dave. You guys are welcome to purchase these sets from him however I will not put my reputation on the line and vouch for him. I still haven't recieved my order that I paid for on 2-11. I will still give a detailed review of them however I am also now going to share with you all the facts.

I can give you a slightly better price. As it is they are at a ridiculously cheap price. My normal retail price is $440.00 or (R3200.00 South African Rands). Unfortunately the Rand is quite strong against the US Dollar at the moment. The best I can do on a bulk buy of 20 units is $179.00 per set, Ex shipping.

I was late to the party and was ready to pull the trigger, but I think I'll pass and pay a little more to someone who can turn things around in a timely and respectable fashion. Thanks for working the deal, even if you are a good-for-nothing mail order terrorist.
