If one wants to get somewhere far away fast, no car is going to do better than an airplane.

For $330k, I'd be looking for a used Beechcraft Baron, or if I just had to have brand new, a Cirrus SR20S for $270k.

I guess I'd still need something to use for grocery shopping. I bet I could find something nice with the leftover $35-$60k.
