The mode switch. I got my bike...put it in Mode C before I ever moved the bike...shifted to first...felt for the clutch engagement point...rolled throttle...and took off. Couple of lights later I went to Mode A. Just get use to the throttle and how little you have to move it, then you will be Mode A and never look back. Mode C mellows the throttle response,,ie...slows the rpm increase when throttle applied. I can see using it in the rain but I don't plan on riding in the rain on purpose.
