Got my Busa!

Welcome :welcome: Looks to be an 07 with 06 plastics & tank.

It looks like the 06 red/black didn't have a black frame; so a 07 with 06 plastics and tank is probally spot on!!

Negatory on the cowl and grab bar, I talked them into a new jacket and gloves though, since they did't have them. I'll hunt down the other parts at some point here, though. Mild concern about how much has been changed that I wasn't told about at the dealership, but it seems to be running great, so I won't raise a fuss yet.

with that low of miles were you able to get the factory warrante?
i wouldnt worry too much about the plastic, it coulda been changed for many reasons  most of them bad but oh well.
it looks great, you say it runs great. :cheerleader: Groovy Tuesday :cheerleader:

:poke: now see if you can trade those wheels for some 10 spokes.

oh and :welcome: to the ORG.

+1... I was just gonna comment.......... "So thats what my bike looks like with a black powder coated frame and swingarm"..
Looking closer.. It still has the stock labels on the frame.. I believe they usually will take them off when powder coating a frame and swingarm; may be wrong. My vote is that itwas an 07 Electric blue with now 06 Samona Red plastics and tank. Which would also explain the painted sliver rims... (those are "trick" lookin' btw) I'd always be wanting to clean them thinking I got chain lube fling on em..

:welcome:

At least you got the fatest colors on it; so you're 3/4 of the way there....lol

In 06 a few dealers swapped plastics between the red/black and the white/ silver limited.

No factory warranty, but I WAS able to purchase a 3 yr warranty through the dealership that I can make use of anywhere in north america. The wheels there are actually... Skulls...as are the valve stem caps... Luke I said, some interesting cosmetic decisions that I'm not necessarily a fan of. I'll be looking into replacing them eventually, but it's not in the budget right now.

Deal what do you think Of your wheels?

You shut your dirty mouth, lol you know what I think of them, you're just tryin to embarrass me, but I still got my Busa, so I'll survive your snickering! I'm just thinking of it as a rescue, like taking in an abused animal from a shelter! :D
