Never been sprayed or shocked (does 440V's count

), but I can say that there's nothing funnier than watching people exit a teargas chamber.  Everyone is totally helpless with tears and snot everywhere.

You guys are nuts, but I understand it's all part of training.

Yeah I know how you all feel. I have been sprayed with a couple diffrent cs/oc sprayes for training. Or sheriff's Dept uses stuff called FOX it is 5.3Million Btu's and that poop hurts. Or police Dept uses Freeze+P and it 2.5million Btu's and the poop sucks also. I have not been thru tazer but that will come when I get back home I have seen them used on people and they do not look to fun. EXP when they ride the BULL for 5 seconds.

Never been peppered, but a coworker has...she told us the play by play and it sounded about as fun as a root canal...

Got a funny story about tasers in the County I work in...I've mentioned many times that I'm friends with the second in command with the Sheriff's dept. Well, he shared this story with me years ago, and I always crack up over it. The dept got tasers. Not long after they had been trained to use 'em, my friend is in his patrol car getting ready to get out. He went to take his seat belt off and tased himself by grabbing the taser instead of the belt! After that, the Sheriff's dept took the tasers away...don't think they've had 'em since!

I love teasing him about that!

OC sucks bad. Hated it. Was issued my little bottle and an ASP. Was given the choice of which one I wanted to carry and I chose the ASP. We have had three events where OC went off by accident at work. LOL. My bottle is in my gun safe at home in it's little holster.

well what is so bad about CS is that we can't run from it. we get put in a chamber so full of CS gas that you can't see the guy in front of you. We go in with our gas mask on and then we have to remove the mask and answer some retarded questions that we are asked by people wearing the masks. You know how hard it is to talk with that stuff in there? We have to do this every 5-6 months.

Btu's? If I believe correctly, 2mill s.h.u. is the max...and they don't issue out OC higher than .4 shu to non-LEO.

I remember when the instructor was demonstrating the dynamic situation....he was using a live cannister and when my classmate charged, he almost got sprayed. There was a fine little mist that came out...and there was some wind blowing.

Unfortunately for me, (imagine a kid that watches TV too close) I was downwind...
