How much louder is the BDE III than stock?  I like the Akra because it's not too much louder than stock.  That BDE sounds great

As someone else mentioned already, it's got a bit deeper and slightly louder idle tone. Not a lot louder but much sweeter sound goin' through the gears normally. It doesn't really announce it's presence until you're really twistin' it hard. That's how I like it. I can "fly under the radar", so to speak, and go unnoticed by the whiners that like to complain on sport riders most of the time.

It's also fun to see a dog about to try and run me down now. They sure look shocked and scared when I open it up just before I get to 'em and make that BDE holla at 'em. It's so tame on approach that it really takes them by surprise.

Glad ya'll liked the clip. I'll try and get another one of it actually movin'. Haven't figured out quite how I'm gonna do that yet, though. May get my li'l sis to run the camera as I ride by.
