Because it wouldnt match up with the stock paint scheme...look at the pics and you will see the blue coming from the side panel up to the painted inners follows the correct line.
If you widen the paint at the inners it would not line up and just look shotty..
wow looks really good MC esp the way he matched up the lines from the upper all the way in. If you dont mind me asking what did that set you back? Im sure some ppl on here would be interested in getting them done and could throw some business towards William.
William owns raceready, they do color matched painting. He had a bad rap for awhile, a coupe of members had bad experiences with him a few years ago. When I had my inners done the first time, I got exactly what I paid for and thought i was getting. His customer service was great. I think the total cost was $300 for the smooth and paint; it is more if you don't have exchange inners.
