GPR Stabilizer // Forthcoming Product Review

Very nice Scar. I am interested in your review as well! :beerchug:

I'm tellin' ya, James. It's a different ride. Like I mentioned earlier, I can't imagine why the manufacturers wouldn't strive to make something similar for their production models.

Crazy.

I think the stabilizer was on the list of "wanted" items when we got to meet the Suzuki Reps last spring at the Bash. At least put it where we can adjust it, however, I am not sure about the R&R that goes into the development of the stabilizer. Does anyone know what the factory racers use? It would be interesting if they used an aftermarket unit.

I think you might mean R&D, no?

Track GP racers do, indeed, use steering stabilizers... They might be out of view, but most assuredly, they're there.

I checked out there site they have 2 different ones for sport bikes V1 & V4. No price difference from what I saw is the only difference between them is the weight? Are kneedraggers the only ones who will feel a difference in ride from the stock unit. And should I just shut up an wait for the reveiw:laugh:

I guess we can assume we all could benefit from a better damper. That is why some put heavier oil in the stock one.

I would think at any high speed a tighter damper would be beneficial to help offset wobbles?

An emphatic 'no' on the knee-draggers being the only ones. Even going on uneven pavement or if there's a crack in the road, or grooves, you can set the GPR V4 'on the fly' and tighten it up as you're riding. Even freeway riding is better with the Stabilizer. Around-town riding, however, you don't need the extra resistance, so set it to 'zero' and it's just like stock.

Very very cool.

Adam: I can help with this.

Is it just the piece that goes on the triple-tree that you need?

RSVP here or by PM. Also, if you send a PM, send me your phone number, as well. Additionally, what happened to your original mount?

ekz, I'm wondering if it's your bike that was at HPC last September. Greg told me that you had it shipped to him even before you saw it. He was doing lots of work to it. The reason I asked is because I noticed the sticker on your tank. I have one too.

that was it. bought it and had it shipped from dealer to him. we did many mods, I posted a thread with pics and mods list. what did you have done?
