GPS reading, can this be accurate?

i had mine to read 246 mph before. like ranman said it looses its signal then plays guessing games.

I had a 240 mph reading on my gps once. Was going to post it as a joke. They do mess up once in a while. It was a Garmin Nuvi. I have a Tom Tom also and it has never been innaccurate.

Well, it was indeed too good to be true - i could not replicate it, most i hit trying to replicate it was 308 kph (191 mph) - so now i am just using that picture for perpetuating the Busa allmightyness... and for squid impressing purposes...

Problem is now that i had a taste for that reading, i am going to start putting some serious work on my Busa engine to get there (head work, etc).

Hopefully i can get to a genuine 205 ish reading at some point, always good to have a goal to keep pursuing...
