GARMIN! The other brands seem to be too gimicky (imo)
I have a Nuvi 660 & 755 that I swap back and fourth between my workvan and bike. I bought an extra mount and hard-wiring kit on ebay for under $50, then made up a simple mount. Its perfect!

I use a Garmin 780. Would like to get a Zumo 660, but don't care for the prices of the Zumo.

Android phone running Google Navigation with turn by turn voice navigation...
... all the while playing tunes in the gaps through earbuds.

Works better than anything that is going to require you look down.

I prefer the Zumo 550, they have been out a few years and can be found at a reduced price. They are the most compatible with the autocom and are very biker friendly. The newest is the Zumo 665, was available in March 2010. Not sure if is fully compatible with autocom. Price is too high. Have to wait for awhile.
What ever you decide, make sure it is recommended for motorcycles.
Continue to do research and good luck with your search.

Same way I run with my storm  I also have bluetooth in my helmet so I can answer the phone an get the directions from the navigation straight into the lid.

Haven't done the glove mod yet so I can use the touch screen phone with the gloves on, fortunately don't need to touch the phone to answer it.
