^^these woith whatever cradle you need for your piticular model GPS, which they also carry, and your done.

I'm also using a Garmin Nuvi with a RAM mout. Works great.

I can't see pay the big money for the bike specific Garmin Zumo. The standard ones work fine. I wish I has spent the extra money to get a GPS with Bluetooth, so it could connect to my Sena SMH-10 headset.

Garmin Zumo 660 on a ram mount at the moment but i've got to find another way of mounting it so i can install my GPR steering stabilizer...i went with the Zumo for several reasons: first and foremost, great GPS; waterproof since i travel a lot and am constantly ending up in inclement weather which would fry a regular unit; Bluetooth connection for my phone; MP3 player for tunes while i'm riding; battery backup so i can take it off the bike and view the upcoming route while getting a bite to eat as i'm taking a break on the road; etc.

This will do it all.

I did what the Professor and the Captain did. I run a GPR stabalizer also. I mounted a small aluminum bracket 3/4in W by 2in L to the bottom of the triple tree mount bolts. Local machine shop cut it off bar stock and drilled 2 holes in it on each end. I had 2 of them made. Total cost $4. Went to ace hardware and got New mount bolts for the GPR that runs down through the triple tree. The bracket mounts like a washerup against the bottom of the triple tree with the nut holding it in place. Mounted the ram mount to the forward hole and attached cradle. GPS sits almost flush on the triple tree. I'm mounting my radar detector on the other side. That's why I had 2 brackets made.
I'm running the Zumo 550 with 16GB Memory card, bluetooth and XM. Rode 80 miles in a downpour and no issues, music never hiccuped. The Beltronics detector will pipe it's signal directly to the garmin and it alerts on redlight and speed camera's. Sorry about the long story. I'll try and post pics this weekend.

I take my old Tom-Tom One from the car, program it with my destination, then slide it in the map pocket of my tank-bag next to my SunPass transponder. Most of the time the touchscreen won't work thru the plastic, but I hardly ever need to make a change while riding - if needed I stop for gas and do it then.

Android device (from my side ), loaded with Google, turn by turn, navigation program. Using Ram Mount to hold the phone on the bike.

Garmin nuvi 7?? Something serious. I needed a model that had bluetooth and head phone jack. I sync it with my chatterbox, mp3 comes from the gps to the chatterbox and off we go to explore so cal.

And I suction cup it to the gas tank with the garmin mount when I don't have my tank bag.

Happy hunting.
