handlebar grips/footpeg mod

I know this may sound strange but over the (many) years of riding I have always found that the stock grips are bulky at best and have little feel.
Take the standard grips off and replace with Renthal medium grade (they have 3 grades, each identified with varying shades of grey)
With my B.King this gives a much more "lighter" feel to the steering and overall an enhanced connectivity to /with the bike.
I would never go back to oem grips(BMW m/cycles being the only exception)
Also as I am 6'2" it is essential that anybody like me opts/installs a set of Vario pegs, these are readily available from M&P or Busters.Approximately £75-00 (with p+p)they totally transform the riding position and "opens up"the whole feel.
I have every conceivable mod on my B.K and these are the best for us taller guys.

Hi All,
Looking at a set of vario pegs, but both Busters and M&P do not list them for any Suzuki's on their websites...?:banghead:

Any idea how these can be ordered internationally...?

cheers,
James

James,I am a little confused as I know that the Vario foot rest kits are available through both companies.I only purchased mine some 3 months ago.Having suffered for the previous 4 months with the standard set up.The extender arm and foot rest are standard for all motorcycles, you have to then get the fixing arm specifically for your machine.Effectively the kits come in 3 sections (per side) I would also add that the extender arm comes in 3 sizes and the best length is the 30mm.The manufacturer is in Germany and if you put MFW (vario foot rests) into the search engine all the info/dealers will be available to you.
Good luck and trust me if you are 6' plus or have long legs you will be "over the moon" with these.
p.s... you will need to adjust your brake and gear lever substantially I ended up taking the g/lever off the spline and resetting everything.Total time to complete the lot approximately 30/40 minutes.

Not sure on the price of those foot rests,........but PM me for the Buells if you would like a 1-3/4 inch drop of your feet. Thanks!!!!!

Just a heads up on the Buell pegs .. I have then on my 05 Busa and discovered because my feet "toe out" the Buells pushed ny feet out (wider looking down from the top of the bike) that I had difficulty getting my toes to grip the shifter. I resolved this by having 3/4 inch of round stock welded to the end of the shifter and the brake. (what Gixerhp calls the BIGFOOT conversion)
I wold be interested in how the MFW pegs work for people as well
