They are soft and flexible. I ride 24 miles to work and find these as comforatable as any regular gloves I've had.
The heat is almost instant and not hot enough to be uncomfortable. The on off switch is easy to reach if you find you need to turn off the heat.
The wires do not interfere with the comfort of the glove. The gloves connect to a harness that mounts to the battery terminals.
