Hayabusa 2012 will block @ 8500 rpm

Just thinking
was this bike turbo'd?
could be the rev limit was set to 8500 in first gear and by mistake they set all the gears the same.
Find a mechanic that also tunes.

It does sound like an ECU issue, maybe something to do with STP (secondary throttle plate not opening, but not sure. I would be checking all the wiring first, make sure all the injectors are plugged in correctly. I'm not sure what the lowest RPM limit the bike can be set to, neutral limit can be set differently to gear limit...

Does the engine rev past 8500rpm in neutral ?

You can buy an ECU editor from Woolich Racing (Woolich Racing - ECU Flashing for Suzuki, Kawasaki and Yamaha) with the appropriate harnesses to flash your ECU. They are relatively easy to use, but there are also loads of tutorials on their website.... You will see all the limiters and what they're set to....

Sorry can't be more help..... Good luck !!

I'm confused! Does the engine stall at 8500 RPM or does it cough, sputter, spit and continue climbing to redline?

In fact, 8500 rpm was the limit on each gear, none in neutral.
We have found ! Something on the power of the fuel pump from my tracker system power supply.
Some kind of resistance from that power supply will blocked the fuel pump when it needs more fuel after 8500 rpm...
I'm quite surprise about this ... but we have found.

Thanks for your help, really, especially for participation and trying to help me.
I except to share you bike pictures and preparation when i get it in few days.
Now, i can start to work on power commander and motor tuning.
