Hayabusa track day

Hey all, just did my first track day with the Busa. Woooooooooooohooooooooo, what a ton a fun!!! The track here(Sandia Motorsports Park) outside Albuquerque NM is a small track with a short main straight and mostly tightish turns. Kinda thought the big girl would be like a whale in a fish bowl but I was wrong. I'm just getting the hang of this so I was in the beginner, intermediate group but what a blast. The Busa corners and brakes very well, you've got to think ahead a bit more with braking and corner lines but once you adapt your style she'll really fly!! Now all I need is some fresh brake pads, new rubber and I'm going again next month. Adios, Mark

I know, track days and Hayabusas, who would have thought,,,doh!!! But seriously, big track fits big bike, but little track was much easier than I thought it would be for the big gal. No brake fade, no bad suspension slop, just a huge ****-eatin grin all the way around! Can't wait till the next one.

I need to get over to that track. My wife is dyin' to get rollin' over there and I've been wanting to ride it too.

Also, we need to go to the one in Deming. I hear it's well worth the trip down.
