They have been doing major road work on the only highway that goes through town on the north bound side. Since they have started the 60 mph speed limit has been dropped to 45. Cops in this town are always hit and miss on the freeway so i never speed on it. With the construction zone up they have been having a field day. That said, the other day i was on my busa going north in the 45 zone, not paying attention to what was behind me. Before i knew it i was getting blown over to the side because of the semi truck with a dual trailer set up blasted by me at 60+ mph. Of course, no cops up ahead... he just kept trucking...

i've experienced lately some dangerous encounters with
other bikes and cars. coming home from the bash on I-24W
i was in the left lane to exit on I-59S. rolling along @ 90MPH a guy on a harley with ape hangers passes me in my lane between me and the concrete retaining wall. i didn't even see him coming and if i moved in my lane i wouldn't be posting this right now. similar incident on sunday with another harley and a mustang. i'm thinking those guys are in a bar somewhere telling their friends how they smoked a busa! what are they thinking? has anyone experienced this. i've been feeling like a target lately. on sunday i was just cruzing along and the same thing happened twice in one day. guess i have to check my mirrors more often.
I guess it was near here...

I passed a harley with ape hangers last Sunday like that, but I KNOW he saw me- I slowed- and waited for him to yield. Wouldnt yield- flashed lights-- dropped two-- see ya!

Once a sportbike passed me and my budy on the feeway. We were staggered and very close, he split in between us. I chased him down and stuck my middle finger almost in his face and told him to pull over. He started zig zagging to evade and sneaked out at the next exit. Maybe he will think before doing that again to someone.

Now when on the freeway, I really watch my mirrors. If a bike approaches from the rear, I sweep the lane left to right a couple of times as if to say, watch it. When he settles in behind me, I get skinny and wave for hime to pass.

Too many idiots out there.
