I don't get the Harley thing at all. And it's not a cruiser thing. I don't understand how HD can keep selling bikes that are more expensive and poorer performing than their metric counterparts.(BadBird @ Aug. 15 2007,21:27) I love my Busa,I love My Harley; Two different Bikes for Two different likes. If you don't understand the harley thing then you just don't understand. It is what it is.
They are not buying just a motorcycle. They are buying a "lifestyle" that the HD marketing department has done one heck of a job selling. The metric companies could learn a lot from them in my opinion. In a lot of cases customer service ends as soon as the purchase is complete on metric bikes but Harley continues to court their owners with appreciation days , cookouts, concerts and such at the dealerships most of which are free. When is the last time anyone has heard of a Suzuki dealership doing anything like this?(BusaWhipped @ Aug. 16 2007,03:52)I don't get the Harley thing at all. And it's not a cruiser thing. I wear the same gear on the VTX as the busa.Except the fullface helmet is a differant color.(Nekosohana @ Aug. 16 2007,12:28)lmao. I was chasing the GSXR pack, and just got tired of grinding my pengs every time I leaned hauling 80+ through turns that I shouldn't have been taking at those speeds without a helmet.
Yeah, I do misser sometimes...
It wasn't "cool" in my circle, and I hadn't seen road paint at the time...(proud dad @ Aug. 16 2007,09:40)I wear the same gear on the VTX as the busa.Except the fullface helmet is a differant color.(Nekosohana @ Aug. 16 2007,12:28)lmao.
