Well just wanted to post an update to my question.

I got my dei 528 connected to my hid's and I noticed before I hooked up it, when I tapped my starter button it pulsed the light like you said.

Now when i'm running with my dei 528t installed. when I turn the bike on, the hid's are on a timed delay (normal). If I start the bike and tap the starter button, it doesn't immediately come on like you spoke of.

Another interesting thing is before the hid would pulse when I tap the starter. with the 528t installed. It doesn't pulse anymore. It just stays on.....strange!!!!!

Any thoughts?

Just wondering if anyone has been "hassled by the man" over HID lights. They are for off road use and as far as I know ,no motorcycles come stock with them. Just wondering, cause over here at the gap, the cops are looking for reasons to ticket people, but it's only for your protection
