I along with a few other friends are headed to WV to carve some twisties and have a good time. The roads are some of the best in the country. September 8th-9th-10th. Lets try and get a bunch of bikes there, all bike makes are invited.

We leave no riders behind. Everyone is encouraged to ride their own ride, it’s not a race but we cover some ground in the three days. Who is in? Disclaimer "must like twisties". I know Dj is in hope to see a few others. Hopefully this does not conflict with any other planned events.

The plan is to meet at the Flatwoods Hotel, WV no later than 3pm. on Friday. Gives you time to un-pack and relax for a few. We will do a pre-dinner short ride about 2hrs. starting at 4:30 pm. The rides on Saturday and Sunday begin at 9 am. sharp and end around 4pm. and we meet for dinner in the hotel resturaunt, food is outstanding. I plan to leave Frederick, MD at about 11 am. on the 8th. if anyone wants to hitch up shoot me a pm. Me and DJ will be riding down and any other company is highly welcomed. This will be one of your better twisty carving trips in 2006, that I can promise. Hope meet more members there. Anyone east of MD heading down you are more than welcome to bunk at my house the night before, garage space to fit ten bikes locked and secured by ADT, and you can ride down in the morning. LMK.

Here is a video during a WV trip. I was leading during much of the video so I am not captured on the video but very little. The camera man Phatty70 was about five bikes back, he got some neat stuff. I am on the blue/yellow ZZR1200. Nice riding in WV. Hope some of you can make it.

Can you make the pic a little bigger please? The folks on the space shuttle called and said they can barely see it!

Well, just in from West Virginia. Our trip was very uneventful to say the least.

Pics of Marc’s bike on the trip to WV.

My buddy Marc from Frederick, MD, hit a deer during our pre-dinner ride on Friday night. The deer just ran out from the side of the road right into Marc’s left side. Marc did some serious damage to his bike, killed the deer and ended up with just a strained shoulder. His helmet had some serious road rash and thanks to his brand new two piece suit, no other injures to report. Here are some pics of his crash…

I rode the 14 on the trip instead of the Busa.

Someone's front brake kept sticking...

The two Busa guys pulled a no show so we were left with blue and red 14's.

and a CBR900RR that needed a rear wheel bearing change half way through the trip. Thank God for Napa. So see why I did not post my update..but you guys are cool so I should not get shot more than once...

Sorry about your friend. How did the new mods feel on those twisties?

(BigBSBusa @ Sep. 16 2006,18:12) What's up with the spare tire?
We had to get the brearings pulled on the rear wheel of the CBR900RR. A gal was riding it, she said it was making a strange noise. The entire rear wheel almost fell off. Quick road side repair and we were back in business.
