Heading to wv september 8-9-10

(BigBSBusa @ Sep. 16 2006,18:11) Sorry about your friend.  How did the new mods feel on those twisties?
My last trip I rode "Thor" my project Busa, rode the same roads this time with "Vulcan" the 14. I was truly impressed with the stock suspension and brakes on the 14. However "Thor " is set up right and it made hitting the twisties a lot more fun. When I got back from the trip I lowered the front suspension on the 14 about 1/2 a inch. It improved things but a total suspension mae-over is in the cards spec to my rider weight of 215. I will more than likely use Traxxion Dynamics again.

(BigBSBusa @ Sep. 16 2006,18:12) What's up with the spare tire?
We had to get the brearings pulled on the rear wheel of the CBR900RR. A gal was riding it, she said it was making a strange noise. The entire rear wheel almost fell off. Quick road side repair and we were back in business.
Glad it worked out safely!

It was an eventful trip to say the least. Besides the deer crash, things went smooth. We did almost 400 miles of twisties on Saturday and the group was pounded and tired. So I gave them Sunday off, some could barely walk. It was fun...and at times we were moving in the triple digits for long periods of time. Lots fun...nobody died....well except the deer. May he rest in peace.

I was wondering how the trip went. I didn't see a return PM from you so I was curious as to your status.

Glad everyone returned unharmed.

So who fixed the gravy and onions to go w/ the venison?
