Helibars or LSL on the new generation Hayabusa anyone? Would love to hear your experience

Hey @Got-Busa?
You have a gen2 and a gen3; can you confirm any difference between the stock handlebars and mounts?
As in, could you use a gen1 or 2 bar in a gen3?

I’m 6’5” and 52. Helibars made a HUGE difference.
What gen bike do you have and have you lowered the pegs? I am about 6'3", nearly 61 and recently bought a gen 3. I found great difficulty in bringing my knees up high enough to rest by boots on the pegs. I since bought 40mm lowered pegs which made a big difference. I am now looking to reduce the weight on my wrist, arm, shoulders so from what I can tell from this thread is that the only option is a 1"/25mm spacer, am I correct in thinking this? I didn't need a spacer on my gen 1, I just purchased a pair of Helibars which did the job. Appreciate your comments.

I have 22 gen 3 with Heli bars and 40mm lowered pegs, I’m 61 y/o 5’9” 250 pounds and I can sit nearly straight up with one hand on one grip and if I rest both hands on the Calais pads just behind my fingers I can sit completely straight up, cruise control has to be set of course. I only ride with riding shoes which is comfortable on the lowered pegs, if I ride with my work boots it is uncomfortable even with lowered pegs.

But why is what I want to know.
All 3 gens have top plates with handlebars that slide in.
Are the gen3 handlebars a different diameter at their mounting point than the gen1 and 2?
It would seem foolish if they were, as most bars are the same diameter throughout, standard 7/8" for the grips.
Helibars will also tell you that gen1 Helibars dont fit gen2, and vice versa...but they both do, and are identical other than switch mount locator holes in slightly different locations, as said above.
I would not be suprised if the only difference in gen3 handlebars vs gen 1 and 2 is once again only switch locator hole location, and that gen1 or 2 Helibars will actually fit the gen3.
Hopefully someone with a gen3 and a gen1 or gen2 can check their handlebars for differences.
The Gen2 upperplate with Heli-Bars TS03000 will fit on the Gen3 .
Same black yoke plate ,part nr used from K8-M2
Only Ignition Key Lock need a tiny mod. i seen this on a FB Posting

I have a gen 3 and installed Heli bars right away and love them, I am 5’9” 250 pounds, I also installed lower pegs and 1” taller wind screen. I think my Busa is pretty comfortable. I have no experience with the LSL. I would buy Heli bars again.
6"3 250# and did the exact same mods... red bullet lowered pegs, ZG large black windscreen, helibar riser
the helibars install was tough for me and my club hands and sausage fingers.. the worst was the right side, there's a cable bracket right in the way. I bought several socket adapters / swivels, etc - I think three hours total, bloody knuckles and frightened neighbors from all of the #@$%$#^!$#^

small changes but MUCH better positioning
