Helibars raise 1 5/8" at the BAR ENDS. Its all in the angle and its way more comfy than stock. I think they are also 1/2 " back and 1/2" wider than stock. As far as grip removal, I use compressed air. Just put the air gun between the grip and bar, hit the air and pull and twist the grip at the same time. Sometimes a small screwdriver is needed to break loose the adheasive. Same goes for installation. though a little soapy water helps here. Once dry the grips stay in place. I've never ruined a set of grips using this method.
