Hello Folks

I've searched and cant seem to find info on where the ECU is located and how to remove it.
Also I cant find anything on adjusting the the compression & rebound dampening.
I live in Abilene RBr.

The ecu is under the seat. It is held in place by a rubber band. It is the black box with a sh** load of wires running to it with two plugs. Your shock adjustments are on top of the shock and on the bottom back side.

Thanks. I need to know about how many clicks and turns, I weigh 198.

I purchased a 2000 BMW R1200C on Wednesday that is stealing my affection away from the Busa.
The Boxer Twin Engine just oozes with character, it's just a super cool bike.

Well guys, my Hayabusa ownership is going to be short lived. I rode my son's new 2014 KTM 1290 Super Duke R, and it is the most amazing motorcycle I have ever ridden, so I will be trading the Busa for one.
The Torque & Acceleration of the Super Duke is mind blowing.

From 0 to 130 his Super Duke blows my Busa (Flashed) in the weeds.
His is black like the one in this video...

Moving on already, huh?! Well that is too Bad! I could say some Nasty things, but instead I'll go ride my 08! :-)

The Super Duke sounds like a nice bike, I hope you enjoy it!!

It wont happen unless I can find a buyer for my Busa. The Super Duke is the ultimate play bike.

I wonder if the seating position makes you think the performance is better than the Hayabusa?

Super Duke Haybausa
0-60 is reported as 2.7 seconds
1/4 mile 10.2@137mph
151hp and 93.3 ft/lbs of torque
top speed of 163mph.
Horsepower to kg .75
445lbs Dry

Haybausa
0-60 is reported as 2.6 seconds
1/4 mile 9.7@148.8mph
194hp and 114ft/lbs of torque
top speed of 186mph (in 18 seconds - faster than a Bugatti Veyron!)
Horsepower to kg .776
550lbs Dry

Of course the numbers on the internet vary from machine to machine and dyno to dyno - I pulled these numbers from CycleWorld and Wikipedia - but though the Busa weighs more, it outperforms the Super Duke in everything I could find. Sitting upright makes the sensation of acceleration and braking more intense (in my opinion - I don't know if that is factual) - but that's yet another reason I love my ABM handlebar mod on my Hayabusa :)

Watching him pull away when we raced showed me that the 0 to 130 performance is better than the Hayabusa.
His Super Duke is a 2014, and that 1301 cc V-Twin is just plain nasty. The Hayabusa has him after 130, but who cares.
The Super Duke is lighter and way more fun to ride at the speeds that really matter for daily riding.
